An electric fireplace entertainment center is a really wonderful piece of furniture. We recently added on to our bedroom, and what a difference it makes in our room. Ours is a huge unit, which was extremely heavy getting up the stairs into our room. In fact, we had a hard time finding someone to help us move it up there, as it was so large, heavy, and bulky – we certainly couldn’t do it ourselves.
Anyway, we finally got it upstairs and unpacked. It is a beautiful deep, dark wood. My husband placed his new flat screen on top and the unit itself is high enough that it lifts the TV, which is against the wall at the foot of our high bed, just high enough for us to see it over the footboard of the bed. I love watching the news up there before I doze off.
We love the fireplace aspect of this entertainment center. We turn it on sometimes to quickly heat up the room, which is always cold in the winter. With the flames, it makes for a nice cozy atmosphere. It was a great purchase!

Last summer we purchased beautiful wicker patio furniture for the area underneath our deck. We wanted to have a beautiful wicker patio set to enjoy the weather outside and our beautiful water fall feature. Being under the deck, most of the time we had great shade and mild temperatures out there, which was such a pleasure, when this Georgia heat makes it miserable to be outside much of the summer! We got lots of use out of our wicker patio furniture – both for lounging time and for entertaining!
But once the winter came, I was very concerned about how the new wicker furniture would fair in the cold, wet weather. It turned out that the furniture was all weather wicker and able to be kept outside without the fear of it rotting or decaying. We did bring the cushions inside, as we didn’t want them to become saturated or moldy, but the wicker furniture itself, we kept outside.
Now that it is spring again, we have set up our patio area again, and the all weather wicker is still just as beautiful as the day we bought it! It was a great investment!
